KEVIN SWINDELL EARNS TOP-10 FINISH
Tulare, CA -- Feb 25, 2006 --

Kevin Swindell’s first sprint car race of the year produced a top-10 finish Saturday night at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, California.  Racing for the first time with the new National Sprint Tour, Kevin drove his York Excavating, Maxim chassis from 15th starting spot to finish an impressive 8th.

“We had a fast car and I just kept working my way towards the front.  I had so many lapped cars and so much traffic constantly through the entire 40 laps.  It was a good race for me; getting back to racing hard and passing alot of cars,” said Kevin.

Friday night will take Kevin back to Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix, Arizona, where he set fast time in the World of Outlaws race last year.  The ½ mile track is one that he looks forward to running.

“I love the bigger tracks, the speed and all.  I think we will be ready to have a good run there.”

On Saturday, the team will visit Tucson Raceway in Tucson, Arizona, for the first time with the World of Outlaws, then on to Las Vegas Motor Speedway March 9th and 10th.
